Day 1 - Arrive Kolkata Upon arrival in Kolkata, earlier known as Calcutta, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Take a sightseeing tour of the city. Stay overnight at hotel in Kolkata.
Day 2 - Kolkata to Siliguri via Bagdogra, by air
Transfer to Kolkata airport. Fly to Bagdogra, upon arrival you will be met and transferred to Siliguri for an overnight stay.
Day 3 - Siliguri to Darjeeling, board DHR (88 Kms/8hrs drive) Morning transfer to New Jalpaiguri railway station. Depart on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. Upon arrival at Darjeeling you will be transferred to your hotel for a four night stay.
Day 4 - Darjeeling Sightseeing of Darjeeling.
Day 5 - Darjeeling Sightseeing of Darjeeling.
Day 6 - Darjeeling A day at leisure to explore Darjeeling at your own pace.
Day 7 - Darjeeling to Calcutta via Bagdogra, by air Transfer to Bagdogra airport and fly to Kolkata. Travel to your onward destination |
 Kolkata is the capital city of West Bengal located in East India. Here, you will visit the Fort William, Victoria memorial, the Indian museum, St. Paul's cathedral, Birla Planetarium and the Botanical Gardens.
Having a ride at Darjeeling Himalayan Railway toy train will be great experience for you. During the afternoon, you will visit the New Jalpaiguri loco shed. You will watch the engine drives preparing engines. It is said that some of them were originally made in Glasgow.
 Darjeeling is a beautiful hill station located at the height of 7,000 feet. Because of its amazing beauty, it is known as the ‘Queen of the Himalayas. you will visit the Ghoom Monastery here and see one of the largest statues of the Maitreya Buddha, Himalayan Zoo and Natural History Museum. In these places, you will see a good collection of preserved butterflies, birds, reptiles and insects of the Himalayas..
